Sarah Stone, Research Analyst

Sarah joined SMG in the summer of 2008, just in time for the Presidential Election.  Ever since her first encounter with the thrill of political media buying, Sarah has tracked competitor spending for SMG’s clients with a hawk-like fervor; she especially loves visiting TV stations across the nation and pulling public files.  When she’s not analyzing the competition’s political spending, Sarah conducts electoral and qualitative research, assists with budget planning, and functions as the resident cartographer.

Sarah graduated cum lade from George Mason University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication: Media Production and Criticism, and studied philosophy at Oxford University for a semester as a visiting student.  Among her many interests, Sarah enjoys driving new places (with only a map in hand!), watching international soccer (Brazil 2014, watch out!), and listening to the musical talents of Sufjan Stevens (“Come on, feel the Illinoise”!).
