Danny Neckel, Media Supervisor

Danny supervises key aspects of Smart Media Group’s day to day media operations, and plays a lead role in client reconciliation and media planning.

In 2006, Danny tracked competitive spending for all of SMG’s clients including hotly contested Senate races in Missouri and Virginia. His role was expanded in 2007 to oversee the reconciliation of all the media buys as well as Smart Media Group’s transition to a fully integrated digital buying platform.

Danny also rose to meet the new challenges in 2008 of tracking all Presidential spending for the McCain campaign, as well as every competitive race for the NRCC.  He continued the reconciliation process in 2009 by supervising SMG’s first FEC audit, resulting from the McCain campaign’s acceptance of public funding.

In 2010, Danny increased his role to include writing media plans for a majority of Smart Media Group’s clients and buying advertising schedules as well.

A graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, Danny holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and History. He is a fantasy football fanatic and all things Cleveland and DC sports related. Danny is an author of a sports blog and TV advertising blog while living in Old Town Alexandria, VA.
